해외 국적자 한국 입국 시 필요한 K-ETA 정보

K-ETA (KOREA Electronic Travel Authorization)는 관광, 친지 방문, 각종 행사/회의 참가 등의 목적으로 대한민국에 무비자로 들어올 수 있는(무사증 입국) 112개 국가 사람들이 한국행 항공기 및 선박의 탑승을 위해 사전에 신청해야 하는 전자여행허가제도로 2021년 9월에 시작되었습니다.

 

K-ETA는 비자가 아니며 K-ETA를 신청이 완료돼도 입국을 보장하는 것은 아닙니다. 출입국 관리 입국심사 결과에 따라 최종적으로 입국 가능 여부가 결정됩니다. K-ETA 주요 내용에 대해 알려드리겠습니다.

 

K-ETA is an online electronic travel authorization that visa-free foreign visitors need to obtain before entering the Republic of Korea for the purpose of tour, visiting relatives, participating in events or meetings, or business(excluding profit-making activites)

 

K-ETA is not a visa. An approved K-ETA is not a guarantee of admission to the Republic of Korea. A Korea immigration service officer at a port of entry will have the final determination.

• K-ETA 홈페이지 https://www.k-eta.go.kr/ or 모바일 앱(K-ETA)에 접속하여 신청
• 모바일 앱 이용 시 얼굴 사진을 스마트폰으로 바로 찍어 제출할 수 있으므로 홈페이지 보다 편리할 수 있음
• 사진은 모자 및 스카프, 선글라스 등 착용 금지이며 화려한 패턴의 옷은 자제해 주시길 권합니다. 사진의 75% 이상 얼굴 전면이 나와야 하며 눈을 뜬 채로 카메라 정면을 응시한 사진이어야 합니다. 사진 용량은 100kb, 가로세로 700픽셀 이하, 앱에서는 자동으로 사진의 용량과 크기를 보정해 줍니다.
• 단체 관광객 등을 위해 대표 1명이 최대 30명까지 동반 신청 가능
• 신청 완료 후에는 수정이 불가하며 필요시 재 신청

Applicants can apply via the official K-ETA website or the mobile application.
Your photo size should be less than 100KB and 700*700 pixels, if you find it difficult to change the size, download the K-ETA application form Google Plan(Android) of App Store(iPhone). The mobile app will automatically resize the photo.

- Be in color, JPG and JPEG formats are only available, Front facing photo

One applicant can apply for up to 30 people, such as family members.

It can't be modified after the application is submitted, and re-apply of necessary.

일반적으로 K-ETA심사 결과는 72시간 이내에 확인할 수 있으며, 결과 불허통보를 받게 되면 체류하고 있는 현지 대한민국 대사관을 방문하여 대한민국 입국 사증(비자)을 발급받아야 합니다.

The applicant can check the result within 72 hours after completing the K-ETA application. if your K-ETA application was disapproved, you should visit a Korean Embassy(or Consulate) located in your jurisdiction and apply for en entry visa.

신청 대상국 국민이지만 K-ETA를 받지 않아도 되는 사람

• 외교·관용여권 소지자
• 대한민국 사증(비자) 소지자, 대한민국 등록외국인
• 유효한 대한민국 여권소지한 대한민국 복수국적자, 항공 탑승권 발권 위해서 학국 여권과 외국 여권을 모두 제시
• 주한미군 현역군인이 공무상 목적으로 입국 시
• 승무원 및 선원 
• 미국, 캐나다를 제외한 ABTC 소지자
• UN 여권소지자 (UNLT, LAISSEZ-PASSER)
• 환승객 단, 수하물 연결 등 기타의 사유로 대한민국 입국 심사대를 통과해야 하는 경우 K-ETA발급 필요
• 사전에 관계기관에서 면제를 요청(공문)하여 허가를 받은 주한미군 현역군인의 가족, 미 군속

People who are not required for K-ETA and do NOT need to apply as exception of K-ETA

• Diplomatic·Official passport holders
• Registered foreigners and VISA holders
• Nationals of Republic of Korea and Dual nationality holders who have a valid Korean passport
• Active service members of the United States Armed Forces according to the US-ROK SOFA
• Flight attendants and Seafarers
• ABTC(APEC) holders(except for USA and Canadian ABTC holders)
• UN passport holders (UNLP, LAISSEZ-PASSER)
• Transfer passengers, if the transfer passenger needs to enter the Republic of Korea to reclaim their baggage or itinerary change, K-ETA approval is required.
• Dependents of USFK members and civilian component, and contractors(but, need to obtain approcal for K-ETA exemption in advance)

신청 수수료

• 수수료 : 한화 1만 원 + 카드수수료 3%
• 결제방법 : 신용카드 및 직불카드 (환율에 따라 국가별 수수료 자동 계산)
• 수수료 결제한 이후에는 심사결과와 관계없이 환불 불가

K-ETA application fee is 10,000 KRW(3% of card processing fee in not included) and the K-ETA application fee is non-refundable once payment is made, regardless of the result of the application. You can use debit cards or global credit cards such as VISA, Master, JCB, or AMEX

유효기간

• 허가일로부터 2년 동안 입국 횟수 관계없이 유효
• 단, K-ETA 신청 시 여권의 유효기간이 2년 이내이면 해당 여권의 유효기간까지만 유효함

Once you are approved of a K-ETA, you do not have to apply for 2 years, however, if the passport used for the K-ETA application expires in less then 2 years, that K-ETA approval will be valid until the passport expiration date.
